"Took my boyfriend for his birthday and we did the full inclusive tasting dinner with 6 courses and wine pairings. The wine and food were not only delicious individually they were also beautifully paired with one another. Each dish and wine was briefly but wonderfully introduced and explained by the waiters. Worth every single pound we spent. Small restaurant and cozy! Best tasting we have done!"

Only thing I would say is the restaurant is attached to a hotel and there is only 2 toilets available. Which half way through night wasn't upto standard that the restaurant of that calibre should be expected"

"Based on TripAdvisor laudatory reviews, my husband and I made a dinner reservation for our last night in Amsterdam. What a fabulous choice! We ordered the 4-course dinner with wine pairings. We’re pretty sophisticated eaters, but I have to admit I had never eaten mackerel or quail before. Both the presentation and preparation of each course, which incorporated Asian elements, were fantastic. Staff graciously replaced the beef course with a vegetarian choice for me. Kudos to the chef for his creative and delicious food and the sommelier for her excellent wine selections. Senses absolutely deserves its Michelin recognition and many 5-star reviews."

"Had the pleasure of dining here on my last day in Amsterdam. I went for the Ultimate Senses Experience with a 6-course meal, wine pairing and complementary drinks and snacks. I was blown away by the exceptionally good and creative food and the charming service. Not knowing all that much about wine, the lady who served them really won me over with her enthusiasm. Ultimate Senses Experience it truly was. If you're willing to pay for premium, go for Senses. "

"We celebrated my daughters birthday with a 6 course dinner. Everyting was splendid: the quality of the dishes and the original wine pairing. Very good bread with soft butter, and all this served by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Extra kudos to our sweet Swedish sommelier. This place deserves a Michelin star."
