"I was a solo diner and I reserved for their opening time - 6 pm. Sometimes, solo dining can be a bit awkward but I felt like they were waiting for me and delighted that I came. I enjoyed the decor, music (low key and chill) and the ambience which was warm and casual. I don’t always enjoy fussy, gourmet food but everything I had was delicious and beautiful to look at. It was a good value and I loved the whole experience."

"We have been in Belgium and the Netherlands for about 1.5 weeks. We tried several restaurants from the Michelin Guide in Brussels and then Amsterdam. Our favorite is Senses in Amsterdam. Very creative menu, mixing European and Asian flavors and preparations. We chose the 5 course/all in which included the wine pairing. We tend to eat on the early side and there were not a lot of people there. I hope that they were very crowded later, because they deserve it. Especially liked the amuse bouche, the asparagus, the leek. The bread with the whipped tofu was brilliant. Really enjoyed the menu. This menu would stand up against the best restaurant in San Francisco and Sonoma county."

"This restaurant was absolutely exquisite. Right as you walk in you’re greeted by kind staff & when you sit down you get your appetite started with an aperitif. The experience & ambience was very nice and the food was out of this world! The flavors were rich and complemented each other very well. Our waiter was Beau & he was also very kind and accommodating. Overall, a very nice spot if you’d like to treat yourself here in Amsterdam ."
