The very names 'Aroma' and 'Senses' suggest that the chefs of these restaurants must have something in common.
And indeed: on May 13th 2025, Senses will be the stage for a special culinary collaboration. JRE chef Pasquale Carfora (Restaurant Aroma, Vaassen) will join fellow JRE chef Renaud Goigoux of Senses Restaurant in Amsterdam's Albus boutique hotel for an exclusive 'four-hands-dinner'.

Restaurant Aroma. Pasquale and his team prepare a unique combination of the Italian cuisine from his childhood and a modern Northern European style. Aroma offers Italian Fine Dining, using high-quality Italian ingredients alongside local, seasonal products from the Veluwe region.
The result is an experience rich in diverse flavours and aromas, hence the name Aroma.
Gastronomic journey
Embark on a six-course culinary journey where two unique cuisines meet in perfect harmony. Highlights include red Mazara prawns with white asparagus, water buffalo-filled bottoni with seven-year-aged Parmesan, grey mullet with shellfish sauce, and a festive finale of chocolate dessert and classic Italian sweets like babbà and zuppa inglese.
