I had a really lovely lunch at Senses after hectic morning in Amsterdam sorting out my new life in this great city. The service was just right and the food with the wine pairings was amazing. They also without no fuss accommodated my gluten free diet.

We went to tasting lunch menu. Dishes were really good, with variety of flavors, textures and scents. First dish was Cevice with cucumbers, main was some South African bird with amazing sauce, and perfect liver , croquet and mushrooms topping and parsnip puree. Dessert had macha which was not our favorite but also lime that totally saved it. Wine paired to the dishes was really good. Super recommended

Very nice restaurant with good service. Food is delicious. Food presentation like artwork. Very handsome and attentive head chef. We will come back for sure.

This is definitely the best place, living in Paris i know pretty many Michelin Star Restaurants but Senses is just Uniquely , just Perfect !!!

We had a fantastic dinner at Senses to celebrate St Valentines. The food was very tasty, and the service excellent. I will 100% recommend it for any special occasion. If I remember correctly, you have to pay a deposit in order to book the dinner.

I found Senses while looking for Michelin restaurants. I chose the 7 course menu and was thoroughly impressed. Each course was delicious and the service was impressive. I would definitely recommend adding Senses to your Amsterdam itinerary.

My girlfriend and I choose to dine to this restaurant for our 1.5 anniversary, great surprise! We had the 7 courses menu, with wine paring. The food was incredibly tasty, a real explosion of flavours for our taste buds, very good choice of the wines to match with the food. Quite and warm atmosphere, proffessional and pleasant service. And a great little attention at the end when they gave us a little handwritten card wishing us all the best for our couple! Really appreciated. A big thanks to Rianne, Diana, Anouk and our amazing sommelier Romay! We will come back for sure. Last remark, this place deserve a Michelin star.

I selected Senses for the adventure- there is no menu in advance. You choose your number of courses and it is then described by the server as it’s presented. Service was good - some restaurants can be a bit snooty to solo diners but not so. I had a nice table and the 3 servers were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely. It’s a small restaurant. Lighting and noise levels were excellent. Not too dim or garish, and I was able to chat easily with the friendly couple next to me. The open kitchen operated smoothly and exceptionally quietly. The food was fantastic - absolutely gorgeous plating, fabulous flavors and textures from amuse bouche to dessert. This is not a restaurant - or chef - being different for the sake of. Everything was clearly well thought out and tested. Excellent value - six courses (really I think it was 7) and 2 wines only $100! They also provided a copy of the menu and a cute booklet of recipes. Complex ones but I’m excited to attempt them! Would definitely return!

Myself and my wife escaped to Amsterdam and left mummy and daddy duties back in the U.K. After checking Trip advisor, Senses appeared to offer us exactly the dining experience we were looking for. So on a very rainy Sunday evening, we arrived for our 8pm reservation, we were pleasantly greeted and taken to our table before the gastronomic delights began. To put the restaurant into context, we have been lucky enough over the years to dine at some amazing restaurants including those with special stars from a tyre company. Is this Michelin standard? That’s for others to decide? However the service was superb throughout, our tastebuds were in paradise and dish after dish made us smile. An open kitchen is always great for us and adds to the theatre and this one that had a certain harmony amongst the team. The Chef and his team should be really proud of their food they produced and the atmosphere that has been created at Senses. We will be back in Amsterdam again one day and we already know which restaurant we are coming back to.
